As a member of the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS) Division XII, the Villa Park Fire Department is part of a coordinated regional network that allows for the sharing of resources, personnel, and specialized teams among area departments. This partnership enhances the department’s ability to respond effectively to large-scale and complex emergencies.
In addition to providing fire suppression and emergency medical services, the department has personnel trained in Hazardous Materials response, Technical Rescue, Swift Water Rescue, and Fire Investigation (FIU). These specialized capabilities ensure a high level of preparedness for a wide range of incidents both within the community and throughout the region.
