President Kevin Patrick, a dedicated member of the Villa Park community since 1994, has a deep-seated commitment to public service and active involvement within the community. His educational journey in Villa Park started at Jefferson Middle School and concluded at Willowbrook High School, setting a strong foundation for his significant service in the United States Coast Guard. After graduation, Kevin took on critical roles, serving as a first responder to the Gulf Coast following Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and later deploying to Iraq in 2009 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Throughout his professional career, Kevin has contributed to national security and community safety through roles at the Department of Homeland Security, Argonne National Laboratory, and the Illinois Department of Corrections. Currently, he is furthering his commitment to enhancing community safety and resilience by pursuing a Master's Degree in Emergency Management & Homeland Security at Arizona State University, specializing in Community Resilience.
Prior to his tenure on the Board of Trustees, Kevin was actively involved in Villa Park's civic life through his work on the Fire and Police Commission & Video Production Commission. Beyond his professional and civic engagements, Kevin demonstrates his dedication to nurturing young talent and fostering community spirit by coaching basketball and football for the Willowbrook Junior Warriors and soccer for the Villa Park Parks & Recreation Department.
