The Village has received numerous calls from residents regarding a lack of water service. This is likely due to the continued low temperatures and is not an issue with the Village water mains. If you believe this may be a potential issue in your home, it is recommended that you leave a faucet open enough to drip or run at a very low rate to keep water circulating throughout the pipes in your home and help prevent them from freezing or bursting. Ideally the chosen faucet should be as far away as possible from where the water service enters your building to ensure that the majority of your system is circulating.
